Potomac hit Winston-Salem pitching hard Thursday night, particularly the Dash bullpen, and cruised to a 10-2 victory at Pfitzner Stadium in Game Three of the Mills Cup championship. The Nationals can close out the Dash Friday night and win the Carolina League title.

Terry Doyle started and took the loss, allowing three runs on four hits two homers in five innings. Charlis Burdie allowed three runs in an inning before Taylor Thompson allowed four runs in 1 23 innings.

Andrew Garcia had three hits while Brandon Short was 2-for-5. Kenny Williams and Greg Paiml drove in the Winston-Salem runs.
