Maybe Jay Cutler was right.

The Bears quarterback last week scoffed at the idea that anyone other than Brett Favre would be quarterbacking the Minnesota Vikings Monday night and now Favre has been upgraded from "out" to "questionable."

Favre will throw in TCF Bank Stadium two hours before game time and a decision made on his availability. The team said in a statement that Favre could not throw two days ago because of pain and declared himself out, but that he woke up Monday and felt better over the last 24 hours.

The chance to make a final Monday Night Football appearance may be too much for Favre to pass up. The fun scenario would be for an run onto the field a'la Willis Reed and the New York Knicks playoff classic.

And is there anybody who realistically doesn't think that something along that line is how this'll play out?
