WASHINGTON(AP) -- Marco Pappa and Brian McBride scored late goalsto give the Chicago Fire their first win, a 2-0 victory againstwinless D.C. United on Saturday.Pappa scored in the 79th minute, finishing high past goalkeeperTroy Perkins after McBride's back-heel flick redirected PatrickNyarko's cross.McBride scored 10 minutes later, heading a long ball from hisown goalkeeper, Andrew Dykstra, past Perkins and inside the nearpost to seal Chicago's first win in Washington since May of2008.he Fire (1-2-1) becomes the fourth team to get its first win ofthe season against D.C.
