The Chicago Fire announced Wednesday that they have traded forward Calen Carr for Ghanaian forward Dominic Oduro. Oduro comes to the Fire from the Houston Dynamo where he appeared in 44 matches, tallying six goals and four assists from 2009-11 for the Dynamo.
The Accra, Ghana native will arrive in Chicago Wednesday afternoon and is expected to train with the team tomorrow morning. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Carr leaves Chicago after five seasons with the Fire. Since being drafted by the Fire in 2006, the striker appeared in 82 games racking up nine goals and three assists.
