The Portland Trail Blazers Jamal Crawford is going to draw a lot of interest this summer if and when he opts out of the player option he holds for next season.

According to CSNNW.com, the Phoenix Suns have made the veteran guard their top free agent priority.

"Aside from Steve (Nash), (Crawford's) high if not the top free agent priority on their list, the source said. He would fill a need at the two-guard position and he knows they want him.

Crawford, 32, didnt get the big payday he was expecting last offseason due to the lockout and will be looking to cash in this offseason.

The Suns are in a position where they need to show Steve Nash they're serious about building a contender, or he could easily choose to accept less money this summer and join one.

Crawford is sure to get his shots in the Suns' run-and-gun offense, but its going to take a lot more additions to start thinking title in the Valley of the Sun.
