Bob Boozer, a member of the Bulls from 1966-69 and a part of the USA Olympic team in 1960, died due to a brain aneurysm on Saturday. He was 75 years old.
Boozer was the No. 1 overall pick by the Cincinnati Royals out of Kansas State in 1959. He was a NBA All-Star in 1968 and won a NBA championship with the 1971 Milwaukee Bucks led by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. In 874 games, Boozer averaged 14.8 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.
Boozer enjoyed the best-scoring seasons of his career in the three years he spent in Chicago, averaging 18 points in 1966-67, 21.5 points in 1967-68 and 21.7 points in 1968-69.

In addition to his success in the NBA, Boozer was a part of the 1960 Olympic team that won a gold medal in Rome playing alongside Oscar Robertson and Jerry West. That team was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010.
