Howard band rocks matching Jordan shoes at NCAA Tournament

The Howard University band brought out its best look for the NCAA Tournament.

For the opening round game against No. 1 seed Kansas, the band wore matching red and white Air Jordan 11 shoes.

Take a look:

The Jordan 11s were released in 1995, but the look has transcended time. Players, fans and, apparently, bands frequently wear the shoes to this day.

Michael Jordan rocked the shoes during the Chicago Bulls' championship run in 1996.

No. 16 seed Howard, located in Washington D.C., put up a tough fight in the first half against the top-seeded Jayhawks, trailing 50-37 at the break.
