Oklahoma City veteran guard Derek Fisher has more than two years left as the president of the National Basketball Players Association, but according to reports, Billy Hunter wants to cut it short. Yahoo! Sports reports that the NBPA executive committee has voted for the resignation of Fisher but he refuses to step down. This came after Fisher called for an audit of Hunter's practices by an independent firm. The review was later deemed unnecessary by the NBPA executive committee. Fisher's term runs through 2014 and Hunter's through 2016.
