Ron Santo will be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame next Sunday, July 22, in Cooperstown, New York.

For those unable to head to the east coast, don't fret. There's plenty to do around the Chicagoland area both before and after the induction ceremony.

On Tuesday, July 17, the Cubs will host a luncheon at Wildfire Chicago. Santo's son, Ron, Jr., Fergie Jenkins and Pat Hughes will all be in attendance. The session will be aired on WGN Radio from Noon to 1 p.m. and tickets are 55. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m.

Fans making the trek to New York can take part in the Cubs Fan Fest Saturday, July 21 at Cooperstown's Fenimore Art Museum from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. EDT. Hughes and Jenkins will be there, along with Billy Williams, Randy Hundley, Glenn Becketter, the Ricketts family and more. There will be a video of Santo's memorable moments as well as food, music and drinks.

The induction ceremony will take place Sunday, July 22 at Clark Sports Center in Cooperstown at 1:30 p.m. EDT.

Chicagoans staying in Illinois can take in the ceremony at the Captain Morgan Club at Wrigley Field. The viewing party will start at 11 a.m.

To cap off the ceremonies, the Cubs will host Ron Santo Day at Wrigley Field on July 27, during a 1:20 game vs. the Cardinals. The first 10,000 fans will receive a commemorative Ron Santo Hall of Fame Plaque and Santo will be honored on the field prior to the game. In a special tribute, the center field grass will showcase Santo's No. 10.
