Cubs icon Kerry Wood joined Pat Boyle's Podcast this week, sitting down with the CSN anchor at Wrigley Field.
Pat asks Wood what he's been up to in the week-plus since his retirement.
"It's been great. I've obviously got to spend a lot more time with the family. The kids are getting out of school in the next couple days, so I'm really looking forward to that," Wood said. "Been busy with the foundation. It's been great."

Wood also discusses his children's book, which he was at Wrigley promoting.
As for retiring, the man affectionately known as "Kid K" said he had actually been thinking about retirement for the past couple of seasons.
