Following its 24-22 loss to Clemson Saturday, Notre Dame dropped to No. 15 in both the AP poll and USA Today coaches poll.

Notre Dame's fall in the coaches poll was eight spots, the same as No. 13 Ole Miss (which lost to No. 12 Florida) but less than the 10-spot drops for No. 16 Georgia (which was blown out by Alabama at home) and No. 20 UCLA (which lost to unranked Arizona State at home). The nine-spot Irish fall in the AP poll was less than those three teams: Ole Miss and Georgia dropped 11 spots in the AP poll, while UCLA fell 13 spots.

The AP has Clemson No. 6, Stanford No. 16 and USC No. 17. Ole Miss and Georgia dropped 11 spots in the AP poll, while UCLA fell 13 spots.
