Notre Dame-Pitt set for noon ET kickoff

For the first time since 2011, Notre Dame will kick off a regular season road game at noon E.T.

Notre Dame's Nov. 7 date with Pittsburgh at Heinz Field will begin in college football Saturday's first block of games on either ESPN, ESPN2, or ABC, even though it's a potential top-25 matchup. Pat Narduzzi's Panthers rank No. 23 in the AP top 25 and have only a Thursday night home game against North Carolina separating them from welcoming the Irish back to the banks of the Allegheny River, where they defeated Notre Dame in 2013 (which was a night game). Notre Dame and Pitt kicked off at noon E.T. in 2011's meeting at Heinz Field.

The only game remaining on Notre Dame's schedule with a TBA kickoff time is Nov. 28's season-ending game at Stanford. Notre Dame will play in primetime this weekend at Temple (8 p.m. ET, ABC) and against Boston College at Fenway Park Nov. 21 (7:30 p.m. ET, NBCSN).

ESPN's "College Gameday" will originate from Notre Dame-Temple in Philadelphia this Saturday, as well.
