As Notre Dame begins its journey toward a 12th national championship, the Irish will have cameras documenting them the entire way.
SHOWTIME Sports announced Tuesday it will cover Brian Kelly's group with an all-access, weekly show titled, "A Season With Notre Dame Football."
The season-long series premieres Tuesday, Sept. 8, with weekly 30-minute episodes airing at 9 p.m. CT each Tuesday following games.

“We’re honored and thrilled to be granted access to profile a college football program with a legacy as storied and as fascinating as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish,” said Stephen Espinoza, Executive Vice President and General Manager of SHOWTIME Sports in a press release. “The passion of the players and head coach Brian Kelly will make for a compelling television series that will appeal beyond hardcore college football fans to all viewers who appreciate great storytelling.”
The Irish open their 2015 regular season on Sept. 5 at home against the Texas Longhorns.
