Only standing room left for White Sox home opener

Friday's White Sox home opener is a sellout, the team announced Monday. A limited number of standing room only tickets are available.

Jake Peavy will start the game for the White Sox, while Detroit hasn't announced a starter. With No. 2 starter Doug Fister on the disabled list, the Tigers will have to alter their rotation -- but the good news is that reigning AL Cy Young and MVP Justin Verlander is pitching Wednesday, so the Sox will miss him.

Most likely, the Sox will face Max Scherzer, who allowed seven runs on eight hits in 2 23 innings in hi first start of the year against Boston.
