Rick Hahn said the offseason is not over yet, at least for him, another Bulls player went down with an injury and the Bears signed a new kicker. Here's what you might have missed from the weekend in Chicago sports:

White Sox

Ahead of SoxFest on Friday, a report surfaced stating that the Padres are the mystery team in the Manny Machado sweepstakes. Machado has yet to sign in free agency, and while he was not at SoxFest, he's on everyone's mind.

Speaking of Machado, newly-acquired first baseman Yonder Alonso shed some new light on his relationship with the superstar on the White Sox Talk Podcast. Alonso even FaceTimed Machado during the opening ceremonies of SoxFest.

In present and former prospect news, White Sox general manager shared why Dane Dunning didn't get an invite to spring training. Hahn also referred to himself as a "jackass" for trading shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. Tatis is the No. 2 prospect in baseball, according to MLB Pipeline.

For fans holding on to hope that the White Sox will sign both Machado and Bryce Harper, Hahn all but shutdown the possibility on Saturday.

Eloy Jimenez said he's ready for the season to get underway and that when the moment comes, he's going to be ready to do his best. His goal this season? Winning Rookie of the Year.

Ozzie Guillen was at SoxFest and said he wants to be a part of the White Sox organization.

Michael Kopech said the goal for the White Sox is to win the 2020 World Series. He also discussed his injury recovery and more on the 200th edition of the White Sox Talk Podcast.

Bulls

The Bulls were competitive in their 106-101 loss to the Clippers on Friday. Despite that, the next step for the team is learning how to close out victories.

Jabari Parker has been in-and-out of the Bulls' rotation, though he responded with a solid showing against the Clippers. Parker scored 15 points in 23 minutes, earning praise from teammates and head coach Jim Boylen.

Chandler Hutchison delivered his best game in the NBA on Friday, posting 12 points and 12 rebounds. Unfortunately, the Bulls announced Hutchison will miss the next two weeks with a broken right toe, leading the rookie to call the situation "kind of a bummer."

Lauri Markkanen and Zach LaVine disappeared late in the Bulls' loss to the Cavaliers on Sunday. Matt Peck, David Watson, and John Sabine reacted to the loss on the latest Bulls Outsiders Podcast.

Mark Schanowski, Kendall Gill, and Will Perdue discuss the Bulls' struggles and why the upcoming offseason is so crucial for the franchise on the latest Bulls Talk Podcast.

Bears

The Bears made several notable moves over the weekend, including re-signing tackle Bobby Massie for four seasons. Just as notable is the Bears signing kicker Redford Jones, who has a double-doink in his history (seriously).

Kyle Fuller's interception was the biggest Bears Pro Bowl highlight in a game that featured some good and some not-so-good plays.

Akiem Hicks is a Pro Bowl calliber defensive tackle, but his dodgeball skills could use some work.

Other

Patrick Kane scored two goals in the NHL All-Star Game on Saturday. It was Kane's eighth appearance in the game, but fans should enjoy him while they can.

Take a look inside the numbers of the first half of the Blackhawks' season.

The Cubs made a notable move Thursday in signing reliever Brad Brach. Tony Andracki broke down how Brach changes the team's bullpen.
