Details surrounding the arrest last week of former Michigan State star and Detroit Lions No. 1 overall pick Charles Rogers are beginning to come out.

According to NFLPost.com, police allege that Roger threatened to kill his mother if she did not re-pay him a loan of 100,000. Rogers is believed to be in serious financial trouble after he was ordered to re-pay the Lions 6.1 million for defaulting on his contract.

The police report says Rogers, 30, and his uncle Ronie conspired to threaten Cathy Rogers on March 5 and 6. Charles made a malicious phone call and conspired to commit a crime, telling his mother that he would "blow her mouth out" and was willing to do "the time" for the crime if he didn't get the money back.

The former wide receiver turned himself into authorities on April 6 and faces five misdemeanor on unrelated alleged crimes.
