Biggest storyline: Evanston is coming off their most successful season since 2003. Can the Wildkits get back into the 8A state playoffs and advance past the early rounds?
Names to watch this season: RB Quadre Nicholson (Sr.), DL Zach Myers (Sr.) and WR Zach Henderson (Sr.)
Biggest holes to fill: The Wildcats will need to replace 14 starters due to graduation. They'll need to revamp the vast majority of their offensive skills department, although they do have a great senior to build around in RB Quadre Nicholson.
EDGY's Early Take: Head coach Mike Burzawa has built the Wildkits program into a consistent winner. They've made the IHSA state playoff field in eight out of the last nine seasons. The 'Kits will be slightly less experienced this fall; that said, they always have talent. RB Quadre Nicholson is a Power Five-caliber running back and a big time game breaker to watch. If the 'Kits underclassmen can fill in at some key spots, they will once again challenge for a playoff spot.
