Biggest storyline: Can the Golden Eagles once again challenge for the Fox Valley crown and beyond in 2017?
Names to watch this season: Senior offensive lineman Jimmy Wormsley, senior running back Loren Strickland, senior defensive end Eric Schutt
Biggest holes to fill: Jacobs graduated four-year starting quarterback Chris Katrenick (Duke) this past spring.
EDGY's Early Take: Outside of graduating one of its best players in school history, the Golden Eagles return a ton, especially on both the offensive and defensive lines. Jacobs will be ready to play more of a smash-mouth style this fall, and I expect it to challenge at the top of the loaded Fox Valley Conference.
