Biggest storyline: The team is playing its second season on new field turf; the school will also open a new field house in August. Can the jolt of new facilities help get the Braves back into the playoffs for the first time since 2013?

Names to watch this season: WR Dontae Woods (Sr.) and WR/LB Devonte O'Malley (Sr.)

Biggest holes to fill: The Braves will welcome back 13 returning starters (eight offense, five defense); however, they will need some new faces to step up on the defensive line. Only one returning starter on that unit-- Raymaz Scott.

EDGY's Early Take: It's been a while since Dan Stell’s Braves made it to the state playoff field. The future is bright, though, as Bremen brings back a decent amount of experienced starters. The Braves will need to get off to a good early start this fall but the potential for getting to the 5-6 win mark is very possible.
