EDGY Tim catches up with Wisconsin QB commit Ben Bryant

When you think about the Wisconsin Badgers style of offense, it's pretty easy to see Lyons Township junior three-star ranked quarterback Ben Bryant (6-foot-3, 195 pounds) fitting in very well in Madison.

Bryant, who gave the Badgers his verbal commitment last summer after impressing the Badgers coaches at a satellite camp held at Homewood-Flossmoor High School, is a big, strong and physical pocket passer type who just stays calm under pressure. He doesn't seem to seek out the spotlight yet also never shies away from competition no matter the sport.

Bryant these days couldn't be happier to have already made his college decision while still being 11 months from actually signing his Letter of Intent. Bryant has already been a part of the football recruiting process for over a year and was more than ready to make his decision.

I caught up with Bryant at the Fifth Annual Franklin Dodgeball Madness Tournament at Franklin Middle School in Wheaton. Proceeds from the tournament benefited the school, the DuPage Hundred Club, Team Red, White and Blue and The Pat Tillman Foundation.
