Edgy Tim goes one-on-one with Javontez Spraggins, Miles McVay

East St. Louis sent two interesting offensive linemen to take part in the recently held fourth annual EDGYTIM Underclassmen Showcase powered by EFT Sports Performance.

One was already established in recruiting circles: offensive guard Javontez Spraggins (6-foot-3, 300 pounds, Class of 2020) had a standout performance at this event. The other lineman who impressed? Class of 2023 (yes that means he's still in eighth grade) offensive tackle Miles McVay. Checking in a 6-foot-5, 320 pounds, he has the size, frame and overall game of a much older and experienced veteran in the trenches.

Both Spraggins and McVay took a few minutes to discuss their latest recruiting news. Also, find out why Miles McVay was able to hang with and compete toe-to-toe against the older talent at this event in this latest video interview.
