Our own Edgy Tim also breaks down a clash between Shepard and Reavis while there are multiple other top 25 teams to keep an eye on.

Downers Grove North at No. 15 Hinsdale Central, 12 p.m.

EDGY's Take: Downers Grove North (2-1, 1-0), coached by John Wander, will look to get the running game going with quarterback Jack Carr and running back Drew Shelly. The Trojans will want to control time of possession. Hinsdale Central (2-1/1-0) will rely on its passing game, led by quarterback Matt Rush. He will have several targets including senior tight end Matt Bjorson (Indiana) and wide receiver Garrett Oakey. Can the Hinsdale Central defense get the football away from the power-running Downers Grove North offense?

EDGY's Pick: Hinsdale Central 27, Downers Grove North 14

Shepard at Reavis, 1 p.m.

EDGY's Take: Shepard (2-1, 0-1) is looking to bounce back after a tough 27-21 Week 3 loss to rival Richards. The Astros will also be missing a handful of key players this week. Reavis and head coach Tim Zasada have won two straight games after a Week 1 loss to Hammond. Can Shepard rally the troops this week and have some new faces step up?

EDGY's Pick: Shepard 29, Reavis 21

Other Saturday Games of Note

No. 6 Phillips at Westinghouse -- Unbeaten Phillips gets one of its toughest tests in the Public League Land of Lincoln when they face 3-0 Westinghouse. The Wildcats will be big favorites, but the Warriors have only allowed 15 points this season.

Proviso West at No. 9 Lyons -- The Lions will look to keep their offense rolling in this West Suburban Silver clash. Lyons (3-0) has 30-plus points in all three wins as they'll be heavy favorites to beat Proviso West (1-2). The Panthers dropped a tough one to Downers North in Week 3.

DePaul Prep at No. 17 Mount Carmel -- Both of these teams are trying to bounce back after Week 3 losses. The Caravan (2-1) lost to Loyola Academy as they try to get back on track before big games with St. Rita and Brother Rice. DePaul Prep (2-1) is coming off of a shutout loss to St. Ignatius in Week 3.

York at No. 22 Glenbard West -- Glenbard West (2-1) pulled away from Addison Trail in the second half last week as they get another winnable game against York (0-3). The Dukes (0-3) have struggled to score on the season as they look to make strides on offense.
