One of the biggest showdowns of the season will have to wait an extra day.
No. 2 Morgan Park and No. 1 Simeon were scheduled to square off at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, but malfunctions with one of the hoops has forced the two teams to postpone the contest to Friday at 5 p.m.
The game was delayed for more than an hour before announcing it will take place Friday.

Sun-Times preps sports editor Michael O'Brien tweeted that the delay was due to a broken motor, which should be cooled off and ready to go by tomorrow.
