VOTE: Viewers' Choice Game Of The Week

Who wants it more?

We are putting High School Lites, Chicagoland's top prep sports show, in the hands of area football fans in our "Viewers' Choice Game of the Week." Fans will get the chance to pick one game that the @NBCSPreps crew will cover on Friday night. We will send our cameras to the game that gets the most votes; highlights and postgame reaction of that game will appear on that night's "High School Lites" broadcast at 11 p.m. — just after Chicago White Sox baseball. The show also live streams at www.nbcsportschicago.com/watchlive. High School Lites will also have broadcast replays at 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. the following Saturday. This week: Who says that a City-Suburban showdown has to be limited to just basketball? Coverage of the football equivalent is up for grabs:

Lane Tech at Argo, 7:00 p.m.

Morgan Park at Providence, 7:30 p.m.

Curie at Sandburg, 7:30 p.m.

Taft at Evanston, 7:30 p.m.

And as a reminder, be sure to follow @NBCSPreps for updates on the "Viewers' Choice Game of the week," along with other high school sports news, scores and highlights this season.

NBC Sports Chicago Basketball Preps Power Rankings: Week 4

The newest edition of the NBC Sports Chicago Power Rankings has a new No. 1 team and four new teams in the mix as we had plenty of action this week. Curie is dominating the local scene with recent double-digit wins over Morgan Park and Simeon as they claim No. 1 after previous top-ranked Whitney Young fell to Lincoln Park. The Lions are one of the four new teams in the top-25 as they make returns this week along with New Trier and Orr. York also makes its first appearance of the season after an impressive win over Willowbrook.

The Power Rankings should have some changes before we get to a busy holiday tournament week as we start to get into the thick of conference play over the next several months.
