According to a report from Chicago Tribune's Dan Dompei, former Bears coach Mike Ditka suffered a "very minor stroke" and was hospitalized Friday evening.

The Hall of Famer was contacted Friday night and stated, "I Feel good right now and it's not a big deal."

The legendary Bears coach last major health problem came in 1988 when he suffered a heart attack, but returned to sidelines the very next week.

The 73-year-old Ditka currently serves as a studio analyst with ESPN for NFL games.
