Construction is heating up in Daytona for Daytona Rising, as Rick Horrow shows in the latest Sports Business Minute.
Last month the $400 million renovation took another step by imploding the iconic backstretch tower on the existing track.
"That's good for the fans and everybody else associated with the racing, because now the 101,500 seats (are) all maximizing the front stretch experience," Horrow said. "Closer fans to parking, amenities, concessions, corporate, hospitality and a whole host of advantages as well."
