Biggest storyline: Can the Mustangs get back to the state playoffs and make a deeper run in 2018?
Names to watch this season: QB Arek Kleniuk and LB Max Salhani
Biggest holes to fill: The Mustangs will need to reload in a few spots this summer, especially on the defensive line and in the secondary.
EDGY's Early Take: Rolling Meadows made the playoffs for the seventh straight season last year under head coach Matt Mishler. They will welcome back 10 starters (six offense, four defense) come August. Once again, the Mustangs will be a big factor in the Mid-Suburban East race and beyond. They have some pieces in place to make a deeper run in the post-season.
