What did White Sox prospects do yesterday? More trouble for Carson Fulmer in the minor leagues

Here's your daily update on what the White Sox highly touted prospects are doing in the minor leagues.

Triple-A Charlotte

The good news is that Carson Fulmer only issued one walk in his fourth start at Charlotte since being demoted from the big league club. The bad news is he allowed six runs, five of which were earned, on nine hits, including two homers, in just five innings in this 6-2 loss. Fulmer's 3.68 ERA over those four starts isn't too terrible, but a lot of hitters have reached base against him. In 22 innings, Fulmer's walked 15 batters and given up 19 hits.

Double-A Birmingham

Spencer Adams allowed just one run over six innings in this 3-2 loss. Adams is in a nice groove lately, with one earned run allowed in 21 innings over his last three starts. Eloy Jimenez, Zack Collins and Seby Zavala each had a hit in this one.

Class A Winston-Salem

Joel Booker had two hits, including a double, in this 2-1 win. Micker Adolfo had a hit, and Blake Rutherford scored a run.

Class A Kannapolis

Luis Robert, Luis Gonzalez and Luis Curbelo each had a hit in this 4-1 win.

Daily White Sox prospects update: Luis Robert makes season debut at Kannapolis

Here's your daily update on what the White Sox highly touted prospects are doing in the minor leagues.

Class A Kannapolis

Luis Robert, the No. 3 prospect in the White Sox system, played his first game of minor league baseball in the United States on Tuesday, an 11-10 loss in the second game of a doubleheader. Robert, who was sidelined for three months while recovering from a thumb injury, went 0-for-4 with a walk and a strikeout in his season debut. Luis Gonzalez, on the other hand, had five RBIs in the game and three hits combined between the two games, the first of which was an 8-6 loss.

Triple-A Charlotte

Carson Fulmer issued another quartet of walks in his latest start at Triple-A, this game ending in a 4-1 win for the Knights. Fulmer's ERA is a mighty fine 2.12 in his three starts since being demoted by the White Sox, but he's issued a whopping 14 walks in those 17 innings.

Double-A Birmingham

Spencer Adams was very good, allowing zero earned runs over his seven innings in a 2-1 loss. Adams struck out six batters and now has 50 punch outs on the season. Zack Collins had the lone hit among the trio of highly rated prospects playing for the Barons as he, Eloy Jimenez and Seby Zavala combined to go 1-for-10.

Class A Winston-Salem

Joel Booker homered and Blake Rutherford had two hits in a 6-5 win.

Daily White Sox prospects update: Eloy Jimenez homers again, Jordan Stephens and Spencer Adams turn in real good outings

Here's your daily update on what the White Sox highly touted prospects are doing in the minor leagues.

Double-A Birmingham

Eloy Jimenez hit a three-run home run to provide all the scoring in a 3-0 win. That long ball was Jimenez's 10th of the season in just 38 games. He's slashing .331/.373/.623 this season. Also in this one, Spencer Adams was spectacular with eight shutout innings. He allowed just two hits and walked none.

Triple-A Charlotte

Jordan Stephens made another fine outing at the Triple-A level in this 6-2 win, allowing just two runs over six innings, walking none. In four starts since being promoted from Double-A, Stephens has a 2.59 ERA with 18 strikeouts in 24.1 innings.

Class A Winston-Salem

Luis Alexander Basabe and Alex Call each doubled in a 3-2 win. Basabe drove in two runs, and Micker Adolfo added a walk.
