Jonathan Toews skated for yet another day and the Blackhawks captain said he should be cleared for contact very soon.
Im tired in this moment, but very good, Toews said. I always like to say, every day, Im getting more confident with where Im at. I guess today would be another one of those days. Im getting very, very close. Getting to this point and not playing is the toughest thing to do but at the same time its smart. I definitely need a few more days to see how it goes through this weekend and well see where were at next week, I guess.
Asked when hell be cleared for contact, Toews said, if not today, itll be very soon.

If all goes well, Toews could be playing again next week.
Sami Lepisto skated on Thursday morning; he has skated several days but its the first time he worked with the team.
Meanwhile, defenseman Steve Montador is out indefinitely after suffering another upper-body injury Tuesday in New Jersey.
