While the Bears have been dealing with a string of injuries in recent weeks, their opponent on Sunday just suffered a major blow. According to the Minnesota Vikings official Twitter account, wide receiver Percy Harvin has been placed on the IR with a torn ligament in his ankle.
In nine games in 2012, the former Florida Gator caught 62 passes for 677 yards with three touchdowns. Harvin also tallied one rushing score and a kickoff return touchdown.
Since Harvin came into the league in 2009, the Bears have had trouble stopping him. In six career games, he's accumulated 470 yards and three touchdowns, while also adding a rushing score.

Harvin had held been holding out for a contract extension in the offseason and his recent injury may complicate those talks going into the 2013 season.
