Cubs or White Sox: Meghan Markle picks a side

We now know where Meghan Markle stands on the Cubs-White Sox spectrum.

On Thursday, Prince Harry's fiancé reportedly arrived to Chicago for the weekend to complete her visa application prior to her royal wedding on May 19 in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

The hat she was wearing when she was spotted at O'Hare Airport to try to blend in with the locals? A White Sox hat.

So there you have it.

The White Sox are embracing their new fans with an open invitaiton to the ballpark and a pair of custom jerseys.

Of course, Markle has some roots to the Chicagoland area. The 36-year-old graduated from Northwestern University in 2003 with a bachelor's degree, double majoring in theater and international studies.

Perhaps her decision is a bit of a surprise, given that Northwestern is on the North Side. But I'm sure White Sox fans aren't complaining.

Hey, at least she didn't wear a Kansas City Royals hat, because then she really would've stood out.
