Cubs at White Sox: How to watch Crosstown online

It's Crosstown, which means baseball halves of the cities will collide. This weekend the Cubs will head south on the red line to play the White Sox.

As it stands right now, the White Sox can clinch the Crosstown cup with a single win after sweeping the series at Wrigley Field earlier in August.

On Friday, it'll be a pitcher showdown between Dallas Keuchel and Keegan Thompson. Lance Lynn will take the bump on Saturday, followed by Dylan Cease on Sunday. For the Cubs, Alec Mills appears to be slated for Saturday followed by Kyle Hendricks on Sunday.

Here is everything you need to know about Crosstown:

All three games will be played at Guaranteed Rate Field on the Southside.

The Cubs hosted three games at Wrigley Field earlier in August, the White Sox won all three games.

Who has the better Crosstown record?

In the regular season, the White Sox own a slim lead with 68 wins to the Cubs' 63. The two teams met in the 1906 World Series and the White Sox won, which gives the White Sox a 4-2 lead in postseason meet ups. It's the only time the White Sox and Cubs have met in the postseason.

The White Sox won the first three games of 2021, and a single win would give them the Crosstown Cup. The Cubs and White Sox split the 2020 series, three wins apiece.
