Triple-A Charlotte
Michael Kopech allowed just two runs over his six innings of work, adding seven strikeouts to his impressive season total. Kopech gave up only three hits, though one was a home run, and walked two in the 7-5 win. On the season, he's now got a 3.86 ERA and 68 strikeouts in 51.1 innings.
Class A Kannapolis
Luis Gonzalez continued his tear of a season, hitting his eighth home run of the year in a rain-shortened 2-1 win. Gonzalez is slashing .339/.397/.575 with eight homers, 20 RBIs, 13 doubles and six stolen bases in 43 games.
Class A Winston-Salem
Alex Call had a double and three RBIs after coming into the game for Luis Alexander Basabe. Blake Rutherford had a hit, a walk, an RBI and a run scored in a 10-1 win.
