Here's your daily update on what the White Sox highly touted prospects are doing in the minor leagues.
Class A Kannapolis
Luis Gonzalez homered for the second straight game and doubled twice in a three-hit performance, also driving in a pair of runs and scoring once. A third-round pick in last year's draft, Gonzalez is having a mighty fine 2018 campaign so far, slashing .339/.403/.542 with five homers and 15 RBIs in 29 games. Kade McClure, meanwhile, faced only six batters and was taken out of the game after being hit with a line drive in the 7-5 win.
Double-A Birmingham
Eloy Jimenez lost his month-and-a-half-long hitting streak Saturday but bounced right back with a three-hit day Sunday, driving in a run and scoring a run, as well. Spencer Adams allowed three runs in six innings, also walking four in the 3-2 loss.
Class A Winston-Salem
Blake Rutherford had a triple and drove in two runs. Rutherford's updated numbers through 30 games: a .315/.341/.500 slash line with three homers, three triples and 30 RBIs. Alex Call had a big day with a homer, a double and three runs scored. Rutherford, Call, Micker Adolfo and Gavin Sheets combined for five walks in the 11-3 win.

Charlotte picked up a 3-2 win.
