Here's your daily update on what the White Sox highly touted prospects are doing in the minor leagues.
Zack Collins and Seby Zavala, the White Sox two highest-rated catching prospects, each homered and drove in a pair of runs as part of two-hit days. Zavala now has seven home runs and 21 RBIs this season and is slashing .277/.377/.543 on the campaign. Collins, meanwhile, has turned an ice-cold start into a red-hot stretch and is slashing .425/.603/.750 in his last 13 games. Eloy Jimenez had another two-hit game, his seventh straight multi-hit performance. Dane Dunning allowed just three runs in his 5.2 innings, striking out six in a 9-6 win.
Class A Kannapolis
Kade McClure allowed zero earned runs over seven innings, lowering his season ERA to 2.63 and adding nine strikeouts to his season total. Evan Skoug singled and walked in a 2-0 loss.
Class A Winston-Salem
Micker Adolfo had three hits and was a home run shy of the cycle. Gavin Sheets added two singles in a 6-4 win.
Charlie Tilson had a double, two RBIs and a run scored in a 5-4 win.
