A family at the Chicago White Sox game Wednesday night received the ultimate surprise.

Aubrey LaCosse and her two children, Gavin and Alyssa, were shown on the jumbotron during the break of the third inning on behalf of their husband/father U.S. Army Sergeant First Class Daniel LaCosse who was recognized as the Budweiser Hero of the Game.

As Aubrey and her children waved to the in-house camera, SFC LaCosse snuck up behind his family and immediately gave his young daughter a kiss on the cheek. The fans at Guaranteed Rate Field erupted in cheers. SFC LaCosse returned with an early deployment from Kuwait.

Gavin was speechless when he saw his father, and the boy clutched onto him for a long embrace.

SFC LaCosse has served in the Army for 18 years and has received numerous awards and decorations. He has won the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal and the Overseas Service Ribbon.

The LaCosse family hails from West, Lafayette, IN, and SFC LaCosse is a lifelong White Sox fan. The family got to cheer on their team in the front row Wednesday as the Sox played the Pittsburgh Pirates.

There have been many great moments established this season at Guaranteed Rate Field, but the LaCosse family reunion will be hard to beat.
