We’ve hit the home stretch of this unique 2020 baseball season and much is left to be decided over the final three weeks. Each divisional race is close enough where things can change in a flash, specifically in the NL and AL East and Central.
In the AL, the Yankees have slipped all the way to third in the East after once having the best record in the league. Now, up-and-comer Toronto is in position for an automatic berth. We have a three-team race between the White Sox, Indians and Twins in the Central.
In the NL, after the Braves held their ground in first for most of this season, a hot run by the Phillies has threatened Atlanta’s positioning. The upstart Marlins are in the thick of things as well. In the Central, the Cardinals are only a few games back of the Cubs with many games in hand.
