Follow along as we play out the first few months of the season.

Result: White Sox def. Indians 10-4
Record: 43-34 this season, second in AL Central (1.5 GB)

W: Dallas Keuchel (4-5)
L: Phil Maton (1-3)

Game summary: It doesn’t matter who their opponent is these days because the White Sox offense is gonna deal a major blow. The Indians are the latest team to experience this.

The bottom of the order led the charge in this one. Nomar Mazara, the No. 9 hitter, hit a solo homer in the second to give the White Sox a 2-0 lead. After the Indians briefly went ahead in the fifth, Luis Robert, the No. 7 hitter, answered right back with a two-run double in the sixth. Mazara returned for second-helpings and crushed a three-run homer to straightaway center in the eighth to give the South Siders a 7-3 lead.

While the bottom of the order did the bulk of the damage, Yasmani Grandal delivered his MVP moment of the day. He put the icing on the cake with a three-run blast of his own in the eighth.

With the win, the White Sox gained a game on the Twins, whose 10-game winning streak came to an end on Saturday.
