A rain-heavy forecast forced the postponement of Monday night's series opener between the White Sox and the visiting Houston Astros.

The two teams will play a straight doubleheader Tuesday. Game 1 will start at 3:40 p.m., with Game 2 starting approximately half an hour after the conclusion of Game 1, though no earlier than the originally scheduled time of 7:10 p.m. Both games will air on NBC Sports Chicago Plus.

Per the White Sox, fans with tickets for Tuesday night's originally scheduled game can attend both games with their ticket. Gates will open at 2:40 p.m. and parking lots at 1:40 p.m. Tickets for Monday's postponed game cannot be used for the doubleheader unless they are exchanged at the box office prior to entry.

Dylan Cease will square off against Zack Greinke in Game 1. Ivan Nova is scheduled to face Gerrit Cole in Game 2.
