Carlos Rodón was scratched from his scheduled start Monday night against the Cleveland Indians, replaced by Dallas Keuchel.
Rodón was unable to go while dealing with an upset stomach, the White Sox announced.
Earlier Monday, Rodón's wife, Ashley, posted about her husband's health on her Instagram account while waiting with their children, saying: "Real life. Daddy doesn't feel good. Waiting outside his appointment trying to preoccupy these two."

After a strong spring, Rodón pitched wonderfully in his regular-season debut last week against the Seattle Mariners. He threw five scoreless innings, allowing just two hits. The great start gave a glimpse of just how deep the White Sox starting rotation can be this season and what kind of weapon a healthy and effective Rodón could be as the South Siders chase a championship in 2021.
Thanks to a scheduled day off last Friday and a rainout Saturday, the White Sox starting staff is well rested. Dylan Cease threw on six days' rest Sunday, and Rodón was scheduled to do the same Monday. Instead, Keuchel will pitch on regular rest. His most recent start came last Wednesday in Seattle.
Lucas Giolito remains the probable starting pitcher for Tuesday's game against the Indians, a matchup between the White Sox ace and reigning American League Cy Young winner Shane Bieber. Rodón could return for Wednesday's game, taking Keuchel's turn in the rotation, or Lance Lynn could move up a day and pitch on five days' rest, with Rodón going in the series finale on Thursday.
