Would White Sox consider trading Peavy?

One month into the 2012 season and the White Sox have managed to stay afloat at 11-11, thanks in large part to their starting pitching and Jake Peavy's sensational start.

After explaining how Peavy has found so much success thus far, David Kapaln asked analyst Steve Stone if White Sox general manager Kenny Williams might consider trading Peavy?

"Right now, we're at the end of April and this team is one game out of first place," Stone said. "If this team falls out of it, if Detroit does what it is supposed to do, I think Kenny would entertain the idea if he could make a better ball club. Understand one thing, it was said by Gene Mauch: Give me 25 players in their option year and I'll give you a World Series winner. There's a few guys on this team in their option year, they're doing pretty well."

Stone also discussed the difference between Adam Dunn this April as opposed to last season: "When you hit .159, you have to do better. He's trying to take the pressure off himself and he's done that. He is swinging the bat a whole lot better. He's attacking the ball. He's always going to walk a lot, he's always going to strike out a lot. What the Sox are hoping is that he drives in 110. If he drives in 110, the batting average is not relevant. He's starting to go to left and left-center field, which is a good sign for a run producer."
