Arizona State loses key freshman to torn ACL

hurley

Arizona State freshman forward Andre Adams will miss the 2015-16 season after he tore the ACL in his left knee.

It’s the second time in less than a year that Adams has suffered that injury in his left knee. Back in November, he tore the ACL while playing high school ball for IMG Academy.

“We look forward to having Andre back in 2016-17,” coach Bobby Hurley said in a release. “He has a great future here and will get support and guidance from a tremendous medical and performance staff.”

Adams is a 6-foot-9 forward that originally hails from Arizona. He was ranked 130th in the Rivals Top 150 in the Class of 2015 and was going to be counted on to provide depth on a Sun Devil front line that doesn’t have many bodies.
