COACHES POLL: Oklahoma and UNC up to No. 1 and No. 2 in latest poll

After a week where 12 top 25 teams lost and three top 10 teams lost twice, it was interesting to see how pollsters would react.

So my immediate response to seeing the new top 25 was ... how in the world is Duke still No. 12? The answer has to be that the voters are considering the fact that Amile Jefferson is out and expected to return. That’s probably the same reason that Arizona is ranked one spot ahead of the Blue Devils.

I disagree with those rankings -- especially when you consider that Arizona’s last two losses both came with Allonzo Trier on the floor -- but I understand why coaches will make those decisions.
