Here’s a bracket where Vanderbilt wins

Mike Miller

Vanderbilt coming out on top of a 68-team bracket isn’t far-fetched. Especially if we’re not talking basketball.

Take tuition. The Commodores would beat the entire field if 2011 tuition were the determining factor. That $56,634 tab would beat Duke in the title game (though the first-round matchup against Harvard would be worthy of a final).

That’s just one of the goofy bracket predictions you’ll find at, which has been posting all sorts of bracket champions using meaningless information. (Meaningless as it pertains to basketball, that is.)

Other bracket champs? Lehigh (starting median salary), Davidson (smallest student population), Florida (proximity to the equator) and Duke (largest campus). What’s this week without a little fun?
