Oklahoma head coach Lon Kruger joins demonstrations against racist frat video

Oklahoma head coach Lon Kruger joined a demonstration on campus on Monday, a protest against a fraternity whose members were filmed participating in racist chants.

The two videos both showed Sigma Alpha Epsilon members chanting “there will never be a n----- SAE” while referencing lynching. The University has already cut ties with the fraternity, reportedly ordering members to move out by Tuesday night.

Kruger commented on the videos.

“It’s something that should concern everyone. It’s not about athletics,” Kruger told the Tulsa World.

“Anyone that hears those comments, they’re disgraceful and intolerable,” added Kruger, according to FOX Sports Southwest. “It affects everyone in a negative light.”
