Reader mailbag: Unbeatable Badgers, Harangody-less Irish, N.C. State’s future and more
In case you’re trying to decide why the college hoops world is so certain Ohio State may lose its first game of the season on Saturday at Wisconsin, you’re in luck.
‘Cause Ken Davis has an answer.
That’s the lead question to this week’s college hoops mailbag. Just why are the Badgers so darned good (149-11) under Bo Ryan at home? There are several things Ken points out, though his final detail may be the most important: Wisconsin hasn’t beaten a No. 1 team at home since 1962 and is just 1-4 at home against ‘em.
That’s what I call working against history.
Also in this week’s edition: Notre Dame thriving without Harangody, the latest on Sidley Lowe’s future at N.C. State and the same for Pat Knight at Texas Tech.
Enjoy the games!
