Keith Frazier is officially done for the year.

On Friday, SMU head coach Larry Brown announced that the sophomore guard will remain ineligible for the remainder of the 2014-15 season, as his appeal was denied.

“As of now, he’s back in school and we’ve got everything in place for him to do the things he needs to graduate,” Brown said, via Bill Nichols of the Dallas Morning News. “I know that’s his goal.”

Frazier, the former McDonald’s All American, was ruled ineligible on Jan. 16. The loss of Frazier came just days after forward Justin Martin had elected to leave the program and turn pro.

The 6-foot-5 Frazier was averaging 10.5 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.

SMU hosts Houston on Saturday evening.
