Ninth annual Elite 24 participants announced

While the summer, from a basketball standpoint, is winding down there are still some top-level events on the calendar. One of those games it the 9th Annual Elite 24, which will be played at Pier 2 of the Brooklyn Bridge Park for the second consecutive year. Friday morning Under Armour issued a release of all 24* players selected to play in the game, which will be held on August 23.

Players were also revealed via the company’s official Twitter account, and while those names are known an announcement on which team they’ll play for will come at a later date. Below are the players and their respective hometowns, separated by high school class. 2015 guard Isaiah Briscoe and 2016 guard Derryck Thornton were picked to play, but due to injuries they are unable to play in the game.
