For the second time this week, Arkansas’ receiving corps has taken a hit.
Bret Bielema confirmed Wednesday that Cody Hollister sustained a broken foot during Tuesday’s practice. The wide receiver underwent surgery yesterday to repair the unspecified damage.
The Razorbacks head coach declined to give a timeline for Hollister’s return to the playing field.
Last season as a redshirt sophomore, Hollister started seven games and caught 13 passes for 137 yards and a touchdown. This season, he’s caught four passes for 65 yards in two games.
Earlier this week, Bielema announced that the Hogs’ leading receiver, Keon Hatcher, sustained a foot injury as well in the loss to Toledo. Hatcher is expected to be sidelined for a minimum of six weeks.
