As expected, and after a two-week long “search”, Boston College has named Bill McGovern as their new defensive coordinator.McGovern, who spent the last nine seasons as the Eagles linebackers coach, will replace Frank Spaziani, who was named head coach following the firing of Jeff Jagodzinski.Coincidentally, and speaking of Jagodzinski, the ex-BC boss was named as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers new defensive coordinator earlier today.
